No one was happier to see three blocks of Main Street closed to parking and vehicle traffic Saturday and Sunday than Rick Steves, Edmonds' European traffic expert, who wrote an editorial for the Beacon in May proposing the idea.
And there was Steves on Sunday, Father's Day, eating dinner on the street outside Epulo Bistro with his son, Andy Steves, and Shelley Bryan Wee.
