On Friday, May 15, the Washington State Department of Agriculture plans to begin aerial spraying in the Town of Woodway in an effort to eradicate the Hokkaido gypsy moth, a variety of the Asian gypsy moth, weather permitting.
Weather permitting, the department will aerially treat about 1,300 acres with a naturally occurring soil bacteria, Btk (Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki.)
