Engineer makes 3D face shields for Swedish Edmonds

Using technology to aid during coronavirus pandemic

Edmonds resident Eric Kamila is an engineer and 3D printing enthusiast. During the coronavirus pandemic, he's one of many fabricating protective face shields and donating them to local hospitals and health-care providers.

Kamila is working closely with a Facebook group called Washington State 3D Visor Mask Hub. Recently, he made and delivered 75 face shields to the Swedish Edmonds intensive care unit.
