Two weeks ago, Chuck Sigars began his Beacon column “Chuck’s World” with a two-sentence paragraph guaranteed to get my attention.
Use the word “cat” and I’m there. I’m not suggesting that it was a rarity for me to hurry into Chuck’s column. Along with everyone else, though, I’ve been steeped in the alarming realities of COVID-19. It was past time to lighten up for a bit and speak briefly of a cat, in this case, the Sigars’ family cat Lorenzo.
