Talented freshman class boosts Warriors | Softball

Edmonds-Woodway will rely on juniors Forseth, Chamorro for leadership

There likely were quite a few introductions made during the Edmonds-Woodway softball team's first practice.

Of the 14 players on the team, seven are freshmen. Edmonds-Woodway coach Cassady Orstad said the seven bring a lot to the team.

"Throughout the week, we've definitely noticed this team has a lot of depth," Orstad said. "We have people that are utility players. They are willing to play wherever where we need them to. So, I think that's definitely a plus. The seven freshmen all came in ready to play with talent. That's awesome."
