Strom Peterson's gamble: Sports betting in tribal facilities

Rep. Strom Peterson (D-Edmonds) is betting that citizens want legalize gambling.
On Feb.13, the Washington House of Representatives passed legislation sponsored by Peterson to legalize sports betting in tribal gambling facilities.
If passed, it would allow Washingtonians to place bets on both professional and college sporting events at the state's 29 tribal casinos. Wagering on Washington state college sporting action, both public and private, would be prohibited.
