The Edmonds Driftwood Players kicked off the year with an adaption by Jon Jory of "Pride and Prejudice," which features a classic storyline revolving around the importance of marrying for love, not simply for economic gain or social status.

Who would have ever guessed that a proud father of a family of five talented, educated and beautiful women would be so concerned about marrying them off?
