Meadowdale's Krueger off to a dominating start | Wrestling

Senior standout should be contender for heavyweight title

Alex Krueger knows what's in store for his future.

The first-team, all-league offensive and defensive lineman plans to play college football. The Meadowdale senior has received one firm offer and talked to a number of other schools.

"Football is my life and it will be my life," Krueger said.

But for the next three months, he is shifting his focus. Krueger is trading his helmet and shoulder pads for a singlet.

Let anyone think that wrestling is a minor diversion, Krueger is all in on the one sport that rivals his passion for the pigskin.
