Hundreds of residents and visitors, as well as a record number of vendors, packed Centennial Plaza in Edmonds Saturday, Nov. 30, for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting.
Sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, guests saw a performance by the Maplewood Jazz Band; holiday sing-along caroling by the North Sound Church's Mosaic Choir and North Sound Singers under conductor Allan Skoog; and a spirited performance by a children's choir led by conductor Vickie Nelson, which serenaded Santa's appearance on a Station 17 fire truck with "Here Comes Santa Claus."
