Sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, guests saw a performance by the Maplewood Jazz Band; holiday sing-along caroling by the North Sound Church's Mosaic Choir and North Sound Singers under conductor Allan Skoog; and a spirited performance by a children's choir led by conductor Vickie Nelson, which serenaded Santa's appearance on a Station 17 fire truck with "Here Comes Santa Claus."

Among the elected officials in the VIP seating were Mayor-elect Mike Nelson and wife Erica, along with councilmembers-elect Vivian Olson and Susan Paine, and councilmembers Adrienne Fraley-Monillas and Diane Buckshnis.

Buckshnis made a few comments in place of Mayor Dave Earling, who was traveling. Deborah Brandie, from the Foundation for Edmonds School District, was emcee.

Vendors included Waterfront Coffee, Coastal Community Bank, PCC Edmonds, Sprouts Lynnwood, and others.
