Owls of Edmonds Non-School Day Camp

10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18: For ages 6-12. Have fun with owls on your day off of school. Get to know owls by learning about their unique adaptations such as binocular vision, silent flight, and asymmetrical ears.

Learn about the seve species of owl that call Edmonds home. Dissect an owl pellet to discover what this predator has been eating, and take a walk to a local park to explore owl habitat.

Furry Friends Non-School Day Camp

10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18: For ages 6-12. Come and learn about the mammals that live in our area. Investigate how these animals have adapted to survive in our local parks while examining pelts and skulls.

Learn how to search for and identify tracks, and take a walk to a local park to see what animals we can find. Meet at the Frances Anderson Center. Taught by Discovery Programs Staff. Learn more and register at http://www.reczone.org. Course No. 8117. $39
