Meadowdale High School locked down after report of firearm

A report of a firearm displayed at Meadowdale Neighborhood Park in Lynnwood caused a modified lockdown at Meadowdale High School Monday, Sept. 30.
Lynnwood police responded to the call at about 9:40 a.m., according to Cmdr. Sean Doty. Edmonds police assisted.
The park is located adjacent to the school. Police interviewed two individuals at the park, and one said the person who displayed the firearm made a threatening comment.
Authorities conducted a search of the park but did not find anyone.
