Audubon program Oct. 11 focuses on Edmonds Marsh

Pilchuck Audubon Society will have a special program focused on the Edmonds Marsh for its monthly meeting 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at Everett Firefighter's Hall, 2411 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
Featured as the first stop on Audubon Washington's Great Washington Birding Trail – Cascade Loop, the Edmonds Marsh is one of the few urban saltwater estuaries remaining in the Puget Sound area. It's a product of years of specific conditions that have coalesced to create a high-valued habitat for birds.
At the meeting, attendees will hear from those working to conserve the area for generations to come. Also...
