A talented Kamiak squad wasn't the only obstacle the Edmonds-Woodway girls swim team faced in its second meet of the season.
Some type of cold or flu bug that hit the school resulted in the absence of almost half of their team and contributed to a 112-57 loss to the Knights in a Wesco South meet Thursday, Sept. 19, at Lynnwood Pool.
First-year Edmonds-Woodway coach Michael Lesaca noted that the Warriors did have some solid performances.
