King’s took a huge step forward in week three.
The Knights cut down on their turnovers and turned in a solid performance in a 28-21 loss to Nooksack Valley in a nonconference football game Friday, Sept. 20, at Nooksack Valley High School.
King’s (0-3) had an opportunity to either tie or win the game late in the fourth quarter. Backup quarterback Hayden Teeter, starting in place of injured Luke Marion, connected on a 12-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Anthony Scherrer with about a minute left in the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to seven points, 28-21.
