Defense and special teams propelled Edmonds-Woodway to a come-from-behind victory.
The Warriors erased a 14-0 deficit with 38 unanswered points in the second half to defeat Shorecrest 38-14 in a Wesco 3A South football game Friday, Sept. 13, at Shoreline Stadium.
With the Edmonds-Woodway offense struggling with penalties and execution, the Warriors had to look elsewhere for a jump start after falling behind 14-0 at halftime.
“Defense and special teams really won the game,” Edmonds-Woodway coach John Gradwohl said.
