Al Rutledge, now living in Everett, still on the ballot

There's a good reason Al Rutledge didn't attend a candidate meet-and-greet Sept. 8 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
He doesn't do email or the internet, and he doesn't even live in Edmonds anymore.
Rutledge, a perennial candidate who has never won a political race, sold his home on Lake Ballinger last month in Edmonds and purchased a mobile home in Everett.
Rutledge, before he sold his home, filed to run for Edmonds School District Board of Directors, Position 1, on May 17. At the time, he lived in Edmonds and provided a post office box as his address. Those running for the school board...
