Getting ready for the Scarecrow Festival yet?

Waterfront Coffee's scarecrow entry, "Jack Skellington & Zero (The Nightmare Before the Ferry)," took first place last year in the food and beverage category.

Feel the change in the weather? It's scary time.

And, just in time for Halloween – here before you know it – the Edmonds Historical Museum is sponsoring the seventh annual Edmonds Scarecrow Festival, the yearly celebration of community, fun, and the particular spooky joys of autumn in Edmonds.

"With summer vacation behind us, school bells ringing, and pumpkin spice-everything showing up in stores and coffee shops, now is the time to start thinking about building your family-friendly scarecrow," said Katie Kelly, the museum's director.
