Man charged in murder free on bail

Terrence Miller, a former Edmonds man arrested in a cold-case murder, is free after posting a $750,00 bond. It had originally been $1 million.
Detectives from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office the 77-year-old in April and charged him with the 1972 murder of 20-year-old Jody Gwen Loomis. She had also been raped, according to Snohomish County court documents.
Miller, who attended Edmonds High School, has pleaded not guilty. He is required to be electronically monitored in his home on 52nd Avenue West in unincorporated Snohomish County, which has an Edmonds mailing address.
