Edmonds-Woodway’s appearance at the 13th annual High School Baseball Classic was a dream come true for players, coaches and fans.

The Warriors savored every moment as they faced Mount Si in a nonconference baseball game contested on the Seattle Mariners’ home field at T-Mobile Park, formerly known as Safeco Field, on Sunday, April 6.

“You grew up watching the Mariners and to have a chance to play on the same field is pretty special,” Edmonds-Woodway coach Dan Somoza said. “It’s just cool to see teenage kids up here and be in awe of what they’re going to be a part of.”
