King’s falls to Medical Lake | Girls basketball

 


A young King’s team wasn’t able to extend its postseason run at the 1A state girls basketball tournament.

Medical Lake defeated the Knights 49-36 in a loser-out game Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

Freshman Jada Wynn scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Knights, which finished the season 20-7 overall.

King’s struggled early on, falling behind 15-6 at the end of the first quarter.
