Warriors set two records at Edmonds District meet | Boys swimming

At the start of the season, Edmonds-Woodway’s Yuteng Wang thought he had a good shot at breaking the Edmonds School District record in the 100-yard butterfly.

He was only two seconds off the mark set by Meadowdale’s Chris Flynn in 2014 – 54.68 seconds.

Wang was right.

The Edmonds-Woodway junior finished first in the 100 butterfly with a record time of 53.40 at the Edmonds District championships Saturday, Jan. 26, at Lynnwood Pool.
