Meadowdale senior standout shows off versatility | Boys swimming

Meadowdale’s Max Khaperman is one of the top sprinters in the league.

The senior standout competed in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles at the 3A state boys swimming championships last season and advanced to the consolation finals in the latter event.

But with the Mavericks missing some of their key people, Khaperman showed his versatility by winning the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke to help Meadowdale edge Mariner 86-84 in a Wesco South boys swimming dual meet Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Lynnwood Pool.
