King’s appeared to have seized the momentum.
Trailing Lynden 40-30 at the end of the third quarter, the Knights scored five unanswered points to cut the deficit to five points less than a minute into the final period.
But Lynden responded with an 8-0 run to extend its lead to 13 points and then went on to defeat King’s 58-45 in a nonconference girls basketball game Saturday, Dec. 15, at King’s High School.
