Edmonds-Woodway falls to Snohomish in overtime | Football

Edmonds-Woodway nearly pulled off the upset.

But Snohomish scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and then punched in the only score in overtime to edge the Warriors 41-35 in a Wesco 3A South football game Friday, Oct. 5, at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Snohomish.

Edmonds-Woodway (1-3 in the league, 1-5 overall) was leading 28-14 in the third quarter before the first-place Panthers (4-0, 4-2) reeled off three unanswered touchdowns, one in the third quarter and two in the fourth, to take a 35-28 lead.
