Rejuvenated Knights pick up first win of season | Football

King’s played its best game of the season and in the process picked up its first victory of the 2018 campaign.

Senior running back Josiah Seirs ran for 124 yards on 21 carries and scored three touchdowns to help lead the Knights to a 20-14 victory over Coupeville in a North Sound Conference football game Friday, Sept. 28, at Coupeville High School.

King’s had lost its first four games of the season, all nonconference, by a combined score of 164-30.

“It feels rejuvenating,” Seirs said of Friday’s victory. “We got a win and everyone is energized this week and working hard.”...
