Ramped up offense powers strong start for Warriors | Girls soccer

The Edmonds-Woodway girls soccer team is finding out that good things happen when you score goals.

The Warrior offense produced 11 goals in its first three games and not surprisingly Edmonds-Woodway also emerged with a 2-1 victory over Kamiak, a 3-1 win over Snohomish and a 6-0 rout over Marysville-Pilchuck.

Edmonds-Woodway coach Bill LeCompte hopes the offense continues its prolific ways as the Warriors begin their league schedule.

“The last couple of years we started a little slow,” he said. “That does not appear to be the case this year so far.”
