Students lead voter registration at Edmonds-Woodway

 


Edmonds-Woodway High School students partnered with the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County to hold a successful voter registration drive on campus May 16-17.

Student leaders Stephanie Wroblewski, Alyssa Hersey, Olivia Meader Yetter, Kaitlynn Rust and Lena Stavig created posters, announcements and social media messages and visited classrooms.

The result: 149 new voter registrations over the two days.

Rep. Strom Peterson (D-Edmonds) visited the campus the first day of the drive, assisting students in filling out voter registration forms. He also was a guest speaker in Martin Louie‚...
