E-W junior throws 4-hit shutout in first start of year | Baseball

 


Edmonds-Woodway coach Dan Somoza was eager to see how his team would respond to some early season adversity.

Leading 5-3, the Warriors gave up three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to lose 6-5 to Arlington in a Wesco 3A baseball game Wednesday, March 28, at Arlington High School.

Edmonds-Woodway didn’t have much time to dwell on the loss as the Warriors went on the road to face then undefeated Marysville-Pilchuck on Friday, March 30.

Somoza was more than pleased with Edmonds-Woodway’s answer to Wednesday’s defeat.
