Give your 2 cents on Edmonds Street Waterfront Connector

Last updated 3/10/2018 at Noon

Here is one of the designs for the waterfront connector.

Last week, more than 60 community members joined city of Edmonds employees to learn more about the Edmonds Street Waterfront Connector, as well as share their thoughts.

Based on that feedback, along with comments gathered online over the next couple of weeks, will help the city develop two bridge design alternatives to be shared with the community this summer.

The Waterfront Connector will be a single-lane emergency vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle-rider overpass that will connect Edmonds Street to the Brackett’s Landing North parking lot.

It will be a long-term solution to street-level railroad crossing conflicts, allowing pedestrians, bicycle riders and emergency vehicles safe and direct access to the waterfront.

The public is invited to share thoughts on the designs at www.waterfrontconnector.participate.online.
