‘Little White Church’ is 1st church in Edmonds Historic Register

The circa 1910 church was built to house the First Baptist Church.

The “Little White Church” on the corner of 4th Avenue North and Bell Street is the first church in Edmonds to be added to the Edmonds Register of Historic Places.

The circa 1910 church was built to house the First Baptist Church of Edmonds, and originally stood near 6th Avenue North and Bell Street. In the late 1920s, it was moved to its current location and now houses North Sound Church.

Church member and Edmonds City Councilmember Dave Teitzel said the church is the oldest, continuously-operating church building in Edmonds and is a “highly visible landmark in our community.”
