Cameras count bicyclists in Edmonds for Bike2Health project

Temporary cameras were installed at four intersections in Edmonds last week to count the number of commuters using bicycles in the morning and evening.

Low resolution cameras were used to capture bicyclists during commuter hours from April 26-28 for the Bike2Health project, a collaboration between the cities of Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace to complete 11 missing links of an existing Snohomish County roadway biking network.

The project is funded by a $1.9 million grant from Verdant Health Commission.
