It’s citizen survey time, but don’t check your mailbox just yet

The City of Edmonds will soon send out citizen surveys to 2,200 Edmonds households to help identify community needs and wants for the 2017 budgeting process.
The city anticipates introductory postcards will be mailed by mid-May, alerting randomly-selected households that a survey will soon follow in the mail.
Selected households will be given a stamped envelope for returning the survey, the option to take the survey online and a reminder notice.
Community Services Director Patrick Doherty said the national average is about 20 to 40 percent response rate.
