Formerly of Mukilteo, Margaret Bridge passed away on Dec. 18, 2016.
Margaret graduated from Western Washington College of Education with degrees in Home Economics and Elementary Education. She married her high school sweetheart, Arthur Bridge. Both taught in the Mukilteo School District for 30 years. Margaret was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists, serving as Chapter Regent several times and as State National Headquarters Chairman. She volunteered many hours at the Lighthouse in Mukilteo. Margaret ended her education career at Rose Hill Elementary as the Librarian, where she was beloved by students visiting the library. They will remember her creativity with stuffed bears adorning the tables and shelves. A celebration of life for both Margaret and Arthur will be held in the spring.
