Region’s greatest minds talk futuristic ideas

Twenty-three of the region’s greatest minds recently shared the stage at a locally organized TED conference.

Hundreds, if not thousands, watched the first-ever TEDxSnoIsleLibraries event, with the theme “Creating New Futures,” which was held Nov. 6 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.

Now a global phenomenon, TED Talks are short, powerful presentations of 18 minutes or less from leaders of technology, entertainment and design to spark conversation and connection.
