As each election season rolls around in Edmonds, I keep hoping that genuine, open discussion of our citys problems will take place.

Once again, I'm sadly disappointed. The city is going broke!

What happens when we can no longer afford our EMS services? Do we get annexed by Lynnwood?

Are we hearing about this very real problem this election cycle, though?

No. It's just the same old straw-man scare-tactics: no taller buildings, my opponent wants casinos, and prostitution will increase on 99. Enough already!

It's time for some fresh new thinking that deals with the real problems facing our city and let's dump the old name-calling and fear-mongering out with yesterday's trash!
