On Sunday, January 21, 2024, Doris peacefully passed away after a long and full life. Her battle with Alzheimer's never took away her cheerful attitude and bright smile.
She was born May 14, 1935, in Anacortes and is a 1953 graduate of Anacortes High School. She was a proud resident of Edmonds, a retired Bank of America personal banker, and a lover of Elvis and country music. She never met a stranger and was loved by all whose lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Mary Jorgensen. A Celebration of Life for Doris will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 1-4 p.m.
