Edmonds Library celebrates Margaret Read MacDonald

A special program celebrating the 70th birthday and long career of Margaret Read MacDonald will be held at the Edmonds Library at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Dr. MacDonald will tell some of her favorite folktales from around the world.  The program is family friendly.

Refreshments will be served. 

Dr. Margaret Read MacDonald travels the world; telling and bringing stories back from such marvelous places as Mahasarakham, Kota Kinabalu, and Rio.

She is a folklorist, children's librarian, and the author of more than 55 books on folklore and storytelling.
