Get out your December calendar right now and mark off December 5th for a night out on the town. Thats the night that Cee Cee James will be in concert at Engles Pub in Edmonds beginning at 8 p.m.

This will be your opportunity to hear Cee Cee James who was born in Portland OR, now residing on Whidbey Island, play her "Janis-eske" raw and low-down blues while supporting her dreams to get to the 26TH Annual Blues Challenge in Memphis,TN January 20 - 23.

Cee Cee won the opportunity to compete in the International Blues Challenge by invitation of the Klamath Blues Society. She will play along with more than 100 other Blues bands and musicians from around the world in one of the most prestigious blues gatherings known to man.

Its a wonderful opportunity and I am so grateful to the Klamath Blues Society for giving me the chance to represent them at the Challenge, James said. Im just very honored.

The event at Engles will help fund her bands trip to Memphis, which is estimated to cost approximately $4,500. There is no cover charge at Engles but everyone is encouraged to support Cee Cee by purchasing raffle tickets at the event for some very special raffle items and as a special surprise, Mrs. Santa Claus will be on hand to pass out the prizes and for photo ops!
