Artist Dan Neish’s exhibit of paintings “Present/Past,” opens in the Edmonds Community College art gallery Sept. 20 and shows through Oct. 29. Neish has been an art instructor — teaching classes in ceramics, painting, and drawing — at Edmonds Community College for the past 12 years. 

 

 

Ballyhoo Theatre presents “Urinetown, the Musical”

Urinetown, a musical-comedy satire by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, has played to critical and popular success for a decade.

Vicki Hone Smith to hold Bellevue show

Edmonds resident Vicki Hone Smith will exhibit her fine art photography in a show called “Venice: Quiet Reflections” beginning Aug. 28, at Pogacha of Bellevue, 119 106th Ave NE.

 

 

Edmonds authors to help inaugurate new bookstore

Robert L. Nitschke, author of “Creating a Collaborative Enterprise”, and Barbara Kindness, coauthor of “My Impossible Dream – The Story of Chuck Randall”, will appear for a book signing at JJ Books in Country Village, 23718 Bothell-Everett Hwy, Bothell, from noon to 2 p.m., on Friday, August 20.

 

 

Tapestries on exhibit at Anderson Center

A joint exhibit entitled “Tapestry: A Weaving Art” at the Frances Anderson Center (700 Main Street, Edmonds) features work by weavers Marielle Snyder and the late Gloria Mae Campbell.
