The Edmonds School District is hosting its annual District Information Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the new Lynnwood High School, 18218 North Road, Bothell, 98012.

With kindergarten registration across the District opening officially on January 25, 2010, this will be a great opportunity for families to learn more about registration, meet individuals from their neighborhood school, and learn more about districtwide programs and opportunities.

The fair is not just for kindergarten families. All community members are welcome to:

·      Meet representatives from elementary, middle, and high schools,

·      Take a student-led tour of the new Lynnwood High School

·      Review the district’s FLASH and KNOW curriculums for HIV/AIDS and reproductive health

·      Get information about Career & Technical Education programs

·      See how the District is utilizing the 2008 Technology/Capital Levy and 2006 Capital Construction Bond resources,

·      Meet Edmonds School Board members

·      Learn about Highly Capable programs

·      Get information about district Health Services, and

Learn about job openings through Human Resources
