Old-timers of Edmonds, particularly Edmonds High School graduates of the class of 1935 with whom she kept in touch via class reunions will remember Frances Fisk, daughter of well known early residents Dick and Emma Fisk and sister of Grace, Richard and Max Fisk of this area, who passed away May 22nd, 2010 in Peoria AZ. 

She was born in Seattle on December 23, 1918 and moved with the family to Lake Ballinger in 1919 and then to South Edmonds in 1929.  Upon graduation from Edmonds High School she attended Seattle Secretarial School and accepted a position of legal secretary to an Assistant States Attorney General in Olympia.  It was there that she met her future husband, Clarence Cooke.   They were married on May 2, 1943 and followed his career that led them to Richland, WA, San Jose, CA and Phoenix, AZ with retirement in Peoria, AZ.
