Obituaries

Zona Lea Knutson of Edmonds, Washington left this world on November 18, 2009 surrounded by her family. She lived in Moses Lake, Washington for only 7 years, but still called it home. She was born on June 16, 1912 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Joseph and Gertrude Venne. She was a graduate of Bemidji Teachers College and the University of Washington. Zona taught school for many years in Minnesota, Edmonds and Moses Lake, Washington and in Wyoming.

Her beloved husband, Harold Kenneth preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by her family: daughter, Carol (Blaine) Price of Edmonds, son, Gordon (Kathy) of Richland, granddaughter, Shana (Tadd) Lipscomb and two great grandchildren, Carson and Kate all of Edmonds; as well as her many friends.

The family gives thanks to the wonderful caregivers of A Kind Heart Adult Family Home, to Evergreen Hospice and the staff, and her friends at Edmonds Landing.
