Edmonds’ Mayor Dave Earling invites citizens, business owners, and others from the Edmonds community to join him for a one-on-one meeting he is calling Office Hour.
The idea was presented to Mayor Earling while he was door-belling during the recent election campaign and he felt it was “a terrific idea.”
The meetings are designed to provide an opportunity for constituents to talk with the Mayor about concerns related to the City.
Meetings will be broken into 15 minute intervals to allow for four individual sessions within the hour.
Office Hour meetings will be held on the second and fourth Fridays of every month from 8 – 9 a.m. in the Mayor’s office located on the third floor of City Hall at 121 5th Ave. North.
The first Office Hour is scheduled for Friday, January 13.
The driving factor behind these meetings is to enable the public to voice their opinions, ideas, and suggestions directly to the Mayor, and, to create public understanding and support for the issues facing the City.
If you are interested in scheduling Office Hour time with Mayor Earling, please contact the Mayor’s office at 425-771-0247 or carolyn.lafave@edmondswa.gov.
