Did you ever want to be a Scientist when you grew-up?

If the dream did not come into reality then this is your chance to be a CITIZEN- SCIENTIST for an entire weekend!

If you would like a hands-on interpretative training, join NOAA Scientist Alan Mearns at the Willow Creek Salmon Hatchery & Edmonds Wildlife Habitat & Native Plant Garden located at SR104 & Pine Street, Edmonds.

This is a free training from 9 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 11.

Dr. Mearns will teach you the basic steps of how to do a bird count such as: backyard bird ID, data collection, and how to connect with Cornell Lab of Ornithology and submit your data.
