Edmonds Woodway, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood and Meadowdale High School football teams will compete in the annual District Wide Eat-Off Intimidator Challenge.

They will compete on a football field outside of the Red Onion Restaurant, located in downtown Mountlake Terrace.

Can one of these athletes beat the record challenge? Bring it on!

The Eat-Off Intimidator Challenge is designed to benefit the football programs of all four high schools in the Edmonds School District, with 50 percent of all sales and tips generated during the event to be equally distributed to all four high school football programs.

Each head coach will announce three football players to compete in the challenge.

The Red Onion Restaurant, with the help of its sponsors, will donate an extra $500 to the team of the football player that finishes first.

The winning coach will toss a pie in the losing coaches faces.

The winning high school will be awarded the covenant Intimidator Challenge Trophy to be displayed for a year.

Sponsors include Red Onion Restaurant and Big E Brewery.
