Cascade Bank employees have collected more than 20 boxes of school supplies to benefit local YMCA's.
Cascade Bank, the principal operating subsidiary of Cascade Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: CASB), announced today that employees have collected more than 20 boxes of school supplies
plus hundreds of dollars in donations to benefit YWCA of King and Snohomish County in its annual school drive.
This is the sixth consecutive year Cascade has conducted a school supply drive to benefit YWCA.
Each of Cascade’s 22 branches collected school supplies including crayons, rulers, glue and backpacks during the three-week drive.
Cascade also collected several hundred dollars worth of monetary donations, which will allow the YWCA to purchase additional needed items. The YWCA will distribute the school
supplies to elementary, middle and high school students in need in Snohomish and King County.
“Cascade’s employees and customers continue to support important community fundraisers and their generous donations help local children in need start school well prepared,” said Cascade President and CEO Carol K. Nelson. “We are pleased to support our local YWCA’s efforts, which make a difference in the
daily lives of families in our area.”
