My summer has started off with a bang equal to our 4th of July fireworks!
I entered Sno-Isle's Adult Reading Contest and won.
What a surprise when Linda called from Edmonds Public Library to say she wanted to take my picture and then Terry phoned to say would I submit a list of my favorite books.
Now these items can be found on Sno-Isle's website under Summer Adult Reading Program.
When I was a kid I loved my local library's summer reading program and can get just as excited now as then over such a fun thing.
So if the kid in you wants to get that giddy feeling again -- go to www.sno-isle.org and participate. Even if you don't win, it's a kick to read or listen to CDs of some great books out there.
And thank you Sno-Isle and Edmonds Public Library people -- you rock!
