Another tree, another treasure lost

Editor:
Edmonds has lost another healthy, strong, majestic, old growth evergreen tree on Walnut St. and 4th Ave. S., the construction
location of another new condo.

The design of the condo did not include the beauty of that gorgeous green treasure, that likely purchasers would enjoy as
a peaceful view into nature.

This tree, several feet in circumference, has been removed today, leaving wildlife and birds with babies homeless and starving.
This tree had no life value to the contractor and whoever issued the permit for the removal!

The value is a new driveway!

I know, my opinion does not make a difference to Edmonds contractors; but I do know that many, many citizens care and would like to protect our inherited nature and wildlife over concrete!'
