No thanks for the gift

 Editor:
To the person who thought it appropriate to allow your dog to take a major “dump” on the steps down to my office last Saturday, a big “shame on you.”

You gave all of us dog owners a very large black eye.
Not only was I sitting in my office, with the lights on, my signs out and a client at my desk, but I saw you on the steps and then saw you leave!

I’m thankful that I found the “gift” before someone else found it… with their shoes.

I realize this was an embarrassing situation but there is no excuse for just leaving it in my book.

As a conscientious dog-owner, I always carry extra bags and would have offered assistance if you had shown any courtesy.

But since you didn’t, I can only offer my shame and disgust and hope that your dog shared their “gastric distress” somewhere inconvenient for you as well.
