Editor:

The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club is in the early process of organizing a P Patch for all interested in growing vegetables in Edmonds and who do not have their own garden.

If interested please contact me through our web site: www.edmondsfloretumgardenclub.org.

Edmonds once had a successful P Patch. Many cities have them so citizens can grow their own vegetables and the surplus is given to Food Banks. This would be realized with the cooperation of the city and Parks Department. The organization would be self-sustaining as to not be a burden to the city.

The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club is also a 501 © 3 organization so grants could be applied for and donations are tax deductibles.

If interested contact me through the above web site.
